Overview :
Rinjani Summit 3D/2N to Senaru is a shorter but challenging trekking package in Rinjani National Park. The journey begins from Sembalun village, ascending through open savannah to the Sembalun Crater Rim for the first night. On the second day, trekkers will reach the summit of Mount Rinjani before descending to the lake and hot springs, then continuing up to Senaru Crater Rim for a second night. On the final day, the trail descends through the lush rainforest to Senaru village in North Lombok.

Details Itinerary :
Day 1: Sembalun Village – Sembalun Crater Rim (2639m)
- Wake up at 06:00 AM and enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
- After breakfast, you will be driven to Sembalun village (1,100 MASL) to register and pay the entrance fee at the Rinjani Trekking Center.
- The trek begins at around 08:00 AM with a gentle ascent through open grassland.
- After approximately 2 hours of trekking, you will arrive at Post 1 (1,300 MASL), followed by another 40-minute walk to reach Post 2 (1,500 MASL).
- From Post 2, continue trekking to Post 3 (1,800 MASL), where you will stop for lunch and take a rest.
- After lunch, continue the hike to Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 MASL), a climb that takes around 3 hours.
- Set up camp for the first night at Sembalun Crater Rim, where you can enjoy incredible views and a peaceful evening above the clouds.
Day 2: Summit – Lake and Hot Springs – Senaru Crater Rim (2641m)
- Wake up around 02:00 AM in the early morning darkness and enjoy a hot drink and light breakfast.
- At 03:00 AM, begin the summit attack to reach the top of Mount Rinjani (3,726 MASL).
- The early part of the climb is fairly easy, but the final approach is steep and involves loose volcanic scree.
- At around 06:00 AM, you’ll reach the summit just in time to witness a breathtaking sunrise and panoramic views of Lombok, Bali, and beyond.
- After enjoying the summit, descend back to the Sembalun Crater Rim, which takes about 2 hours.
- Have a proper breakfast upon arrival at camp.
- After breakfast, continue the trek down to Segara Anak Lake (approx. 3 hours walk).
- Take time to rest and enjoy the views by the lake, including a relaxing bath in the natural hot springs nearby.
- While you soak and unwind, your porters will prepare lunch.
- After lunch, resume the trek by climbing up to Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 MASL), your campsite for the second night.
- Senaru Crater Rim offers one of the most spectacular views on the mountain, overlooking the lake and summit.
Day 3: Senaru Crater Rim – Senaru Village (601m)
- After breakfast with an unforgettable sunrise, begin the descent from Mount Rinjani through the tropical rainforest.
- Along the way, you may be lucky enough to spot rare black monkeys.
- The descent takes around 5 hours until you reach Senaru village (601 MASL).
- From Senaru, your transport will be ready to take you to your next destination.
